Just couldn't believe the calls against the Saints and the lack of calls against the Patriots. Brady had ALL day to throw on many occasions and there were no holding calls on them. Astounded me! The call calling false start when it was CLEARLY offsides was just another example of piss poor officiating. Hope the franchise reads the NFL the riot act on this game. Just awful!!!!

Agreed that the offense didn't do their part, but I just couldn't get over the ridiculous calls that went against the Saints. Was a difference maker!

That first down we should have gotten when the Patriots jumped into the neutral zone could have made a difference in the point total

What are the names of these refs? I hope we don't have them anytime soon.

I don't give a frick what the offense did. You calls the game even. Not suck the Patriots dicks the entire game. Meaning you call the offsides, you call the incomplete passes that hit the ground, you call the blatant holds, and you consistently call the same illegal hits. I can go on and on. The league officials have been screwing opposing teams against the Patriots for far too long. No matter what they do, they give them the benefit of the doubt. Like the can't do no wrong. frick this league and their corrupt ways. Those frauds steal 3 Super Bowls and barely get a slap on the wrist, yet we get destroyed for some bullshite bounty system that every fricking team in this league ran.

not that it made a difference, but how about the sideline pass where the PAT dropped the ball, and they called it a catch.

Some of the officiating was bad but the Saints knew going into the game that Graham was gonna be jammed at the line and the first 5 yards and it was known that another option was going to be needed this week

What did we do, we tried to force everything to Graham anyway and it burned us. In the past when Brees has acted this way it almost always results in a loss. It was bad coaching and bad QB play.

I was listening to the pats radio broadcast on Sirius and even the pats play by play guy said they got away with one there bc the ball short hopped off the grass into the receivers hand.

I don't like how people keep saying that the Saints should have overcome. It was an ugly game that the Saints should have still won. A few calls here and there and the Saints win. No matter how ugly. Great teams win even when they aren't playing their best. This should have been a ugly win on the road, but it was taken away by the thrid team on the field, plain and simple.

FIFY. It's also the reason why trying to pass for a first was more risky than normal at the end of the game, and I don't think people are thinking about it the way they should. All game the Patriots were allowed to grab and shove well past the 5 yards downfield. Trying to be aggressive also relies on not only a receiver to get open and catch the ball, but for the refs to call it fairly if/when the Patriots grabbed them before the ball was there. I doubt the latter would have happened.

Did the Saints have an opportunity to win despite the bullshite? Of course. And of course there are things you can look at to say "well if you just would have done this, you win anyway, so you can't blame the refs." But how about this, if the refs weren't so much in their pockets all game and directly changing the score with their calls/no calls, the plays at the end don't need to be made for the Saints to win.

There's blame all around. Stop focusing on Graham. Stick with the run when it was working. Don't go prevent. etc etc. But it all played into the final score, including the bullshite officiating. Everyone is just quick to give the officials a pass because "oh it's just the fanbase whining about losing", no matter how absolutely blatant the bias was on the calls.

Difference there is that the refs were complete shite for both teams. It's the difference between terrible officials and biased officials. Terrible ones frick up both ways, biased ones are what we had yesterday.
