quote:You want the stadium to be quiet? I don't know if you've noticed, but the loudest section of the stadium by far is the student section. If you don't want to hear anything, stay home. I'd pay big bucks to be able to go back and sit in the student section every game. I've sat elsewhere for years, and it just sucks compared to being in the SS. The student section is the heart and soul of Tiger Stadium. I haven't been there in 6 years, but from 2002-2007 we stood up the entire game. The only seats were up under the scoreboard, and they were packed
Reducing the student section would help in many ways. Cut it by half, which would increase revenue. Eliminate Greek automatic tickets. Tickets go in a priority to upperclassmen, graduate schools, i.e., law, vet, etc
I was at a game, I think in 2004-05 where the whole stadium emptied except the student section because of a near monsoon. It was like that for an hour or so, can't remember specifically. Nobody left
Do you really think graduate students like going to games? News flash....they don't.
Increase revenue my fricking arse. The money is already there, no need for more money at the expense of losing student section tickets. Shove it up your arse
