Reality check concerning the Tiger defense.

Let me start by saying the defensive performance over the last 6 quarters has been very refreshing. Yesterday they played with a sense of urgency. They appeared to play harder and more aggressive than at any point this season.
With that being said. Florida is a one dimensional offense and MSU only scored 21 points against Bowling Green. As well as they played yesterday I am not ready to say that this defense will dominate the rest of the season, but I do think they have turned the corner.

That stat don't mean nothing. LSU always beats teams up and when that team plays the next week, they don't look as good as they did against LSU because they are worn out from playing LSU. Even when our defense is as fragile as they can be, they will still hit you in the mouth and rip your helment off. They wear you down, especially now that Chavis is rotating in fresh bodies on the line and secondary.

I think our DLine is playing better, and i think we have improved our CB play with that addition of the freshmen. BUt i still think outside Kwon our Linebackers are too slow and thats why we get killed in the edges.

Ah... the proverbial "turd in punch-bowl" post.
Behind every silver lining is a cloud I guess
