My easy solution to the traffic problem:
Send ALL of the gameday traffic cops home. They don't help anything, they don't direct traffic. They just close lots before they're full and sit in their cars soaking up AC and time and a half while blocking up a lane of traffic and making sure people can't go whatever way they want.

There are many other more expensive solutions that would probably be made much more affordable due to not having to pay for all of those wasted police officers like:
4 lane Nicholson with turn lanes from Burbank to at least Lee.
Left Turn lanes for Nicholson at Lee
Left Turn Signal on game days for Skip Burtman Drive and Gourrier at River Road.
3 Lane Highland Road from the McKinley to Perkins
Reduce the number of traffic lights on Highland
Extend West Parker to Nicholson
Remove the shoulder and/or widen Parker to 4 lanes.
Put an I-10 East on-ramp at Dalrymple

Just a few suggestions.
