an important part of where we're at now. Say what you want, but his players were the foundation of Saban's first SEC win, a season that helped us really build the fence around La.

He would never have achieved a high level of sucess here, but still an important figure in modern LSU football IMO.

I actually think, but for his stubbornness, he possibly could have.

I think, in many ways, he was a smarter coach than Miles. And this is not from a Miles basher, either.
