Here's the EW post mortem with one of the show runners
Great read. These guys really know how to tease upcoming episodes without giving away anything big huh?
It seems there's a different interview every other week with these guys and you still don't have a clue that shite like last night is coming.
Great episode and Kreisbergs reasoning for ending Moiras character makes complete sense.
I also like this comment here as to how different season 3 will be as 2 was to 1:
quote:
“It’s like any long-running show you turn on in re-runs. You can watch the episode for about 4 seconds and know, ‘Oh, that’s season 3. Or that’s season 4. And it’s not just the haircuts. The show has a different feel.” This desire for “different,” he added, will result in some sets being completely retired “for reasons that will become apparent as you see these last episodes.” “We’ve already seen designs for some of the new sets for season 3, which are amazing,” he says.
Really great and unpredictable show that doesn't drag.
ETA:
On an unrelated note. Any of you that aren't watching Agents of Shield or quit early on, should binge watch it during the summer or something. While not at Arrows level yet, AoS got significantly better from the episode or two before Winter Soldier came out and has cranked it up a notch every week since.

I wonder which sets will be "retired"? I think Queen mansion is an easy guess. But now I'm wondering about whether or not the Verdant will survive the season, or if Thea just disowns him and throws him and his setup out of her club.
