I think this was on the Dandydon link to the basketball commitment this AM. When I saw it, I wondered why it looked like helmet mike and not Toonces. Maybe it has changed officially after all.

There's something to be said for tradition. There's a fitted hat with helmet mike on the front that is pretty sweet. Something to wear with pride.

That's not the same logo. The tiger head there is not symmetrical and a bit more busy. LSU has used several variations of a tiger head logo that were all similar to the helmet logo.
