I don't pretend to know which way Hootie, or for that matter, the other high profile targets, will go. Like all LSU fans, I hope we can land as many as possible but unfortunately, "all" is an unreasonable expectation. Our team of coaches have done a good job & will continue to do so. We, as fans, need to grow a pair (ala, Bama fans), show some confidence and get over this "sky is falling" mentality over every big name recruit. When you look at some of the out of conference schools producing a really high level of talent from recruits no one has ever heard of it brings a little sanity into perspective. LSU will continue to excel in recruiting and as fans, we should fear no one...period.

Do you know any LSU fans like this in real life or are you coming to this conclusion based off what you read on an internet message board?

I want hootie like the rest of this board but major programs don't fall off because of a couple of guys. winston is balling out for fl. state and that hasn't destroyed bama. every state loses talented players. we want hootie but we will win a nc.
