I believe this is finally the year where the SEC will not win the national championship. Bama will be beaten and two teams from the PAC-12/Big Ten/ACC/Big 12 will go undefeated, precluding a one-loss SEC champion from participating in the NCG.

I agree and honestly I think it's good for the sport. Yeah, I love the SEC dominating but it is starting to make College Football less fun for everyone else which isn't good for the sport.

I've been thinking this for a while. I doubt LSU would get much consideration even if we beat UGA in the SEC championship game. If LSU beats bama but loses to aTm then the media would tear bama's weak schedule apart.

Way too much football left. Things will get crazy pretty soon in the next couple weeks.

Baylor vs. Oregon in the NC game would be terrible

Well the country asks for this when they voted a weak schedule Bama over an accomplished OSU team in 2011.

That happened in 2011.

so you're saying there's a chance
now that espn is hitched up with the sec, it will be interesting to see what happens if an sec team has a loss but others are undefeated.

It would be better for a non SEC team to play an SEC team to make the win more legitimate. I use to be be an SEC SEC SEC idiot until they let Alabama rain on what may have been the best season in college football history. I
