I know my college years were three puffs and a cloud of smoke, but I have mentioned jokingly on here once or twice about green jerseys. Do anyone else remember us wearing a green jersey on occasions? When? Why? If so, do you have pics? Either I am going nuts, but I swear I remember this...I could be wrong. I searched the internet and found nothing.

Honestly, I try to be a student of LSU football history, and I have never even heard of such a thing.

Maybe I have something to learn?

EDIT: I assume you meant during a game. As others have now pointed out, players do wear green no-contact jerseys in practice and at scrimmages.

The only nonstandard jersey color I remember was the gold jersey for the Indy Bowl vs Notre Dame.

Then there were the infamous purple pants..

The baseball team wore green hats for St. Paddy's Day. The football team has green practice jerseys for certain player positions.
