A great fit to succeed Brady in New England.

Or succeed Manning in Denver.
If Denver wins it all it wouldn't surprise me if he retired.

acksonville will likely get Manziel, IMO Houston is going to move on Matt Schaub, dude is terrible and getting worse.

I really don't think that Manziel will go over Mett. He's just too pint-sized. Mett is a really good athlete and has the frame/measurables that NFL GM's drool over. I feel like he could be the #1 overall pick if his season continues on this arc.

Only if Cam goes with him.

J/K

Probably. Power running game, pocket passer..why not?

Though he's shown tremendous strides this year, he'll have to get rid of the ball much quicker IMO.

I think Jacksonville may go after him is because of marketing to get asses in the stadium.

They should just go ahead and move to Los Angeles already.

METT to the Saints to ultimately take over for Brees? I would love this.

Mett would be a good fit in Minnesota. His strength is PA and having AP would set it up nicely.

Mett would be a perfect fit. Power running game with vertical passing game. JFF is very likely to go to jacksonville, but maybe as the first pick in the second round. Definitely not the first pick overall. They do want him for marketing, and filling up the stands.

i would cringe at Mett doing as many bootlegs as the Texans like to run, thats just not his game
about the only smart observation in this thread...those saying he'd be a perfect fit for the Texans aren't watching them that closely.
Mett is no more mobile that Schaub. Once defenses began to neutralize the Texans stretch running game even a bit, that backside DE is waiting for the boot. That is huge part of Kubiak's offense.

And slow down with the Mett #1 overall talk (or even the 1st round certainty).
His make or break will be how he will continue to adjust to defenses that bring more pressure via multiple blitz packages. Do you not remember how poor he looked in the last series against UGA when they finally decided to blitz him? I'm shocked MSU didn't blitz more.
UF & bama both are known for trying to confuse QBs & disguise blitzes. If he puts up these great numbers against those defenses, we should revisit.

Manziel will not be the 1st or 2nd QB taken in the draft... there are bigger guys who have an arm and can run.

Dont get me wrong, he will go somewhere but i think the top qb's will be a little bigger (I dont see him having the size to be 1st round)
