Jacksonville will likely get Manziel, IMO Houston is going to move on Matt Schaub, dude is terrible and getting worse.

Yea I would like that as well, although AZ might ride with Palmer another year or so, they may get him and see what happens.

I started a thread that is indirectly about this on the MSB.

ZM is the perfect fit for Houston. He's big and can make plays but he's not stupid. They don't need a guy who can run.. Their rushing offense is already on point. They don't need a gunslinger either.. They just need a pocket passer who can make plays often when they're down. That's their biggest issue now.. They dominate when they get an early lead because of their rushing attack.. When they start throwing a lot Schaub makes mistakes. They need someone who can handle that pressure.

well he's only a sophomore so he won't be in the draft with Mett...

Pretty sure Manziel is eligible after this year.

he's been in college 3 years and even sumlin has basically said manziel is gone after this season and he does not blame him

I saw an interview with Sumlin this season and he acknowledged Manziel was going pro after this season and he'd be a fool not to.

You may want to do some homework on Manziel's draft eligibility.

Come on man.

And the reason I think Jacksonville may go after him is because of marketing to get asses in the stadium.

I wouldn't wish the Texans on Mett. There is no clear direction here, like Dallas.
While I am fan of the Texans, they need new coaches to move this thing along. I'd hate to see Mett here just going to waste.

As long as Kubiak is in charge no QB has a chance for success.

Depends if Kubiack is still there runningthe zone blocking scheme

Hes a good fit for the players hes got there (that arm throwing Andre Johnson the ball would be sweet) but i would cringe at Mett doing as many bootlegs as the Texans like to run, thats just not his game

I'd be happy if he went to Houston.

I can think of about 25 other teams that would be worse for him.

Arizona would be an incredible place to play and he could sit a year or two and learn the system. That defense they have is young and getting better. That could be a killer squad in 4 years.
