Corey Thompson looked like a real safety out there. Only got burned that 1 time, and broke up 3 other pass plays and helped in run coverage. main thing was he did not over pursue and played like a last line of defense as he should. he has the tools to be great!

He has a chance to be a very good safety better than reid idk only if the corners pick it up time will tell.

I did not think so, and that play in the endzone was the opposite of good.

But it was more inexperience than inability, but we have to start trying to play the ball in the air.

Gave up the one TD obviously but i thought he played fairly well overall. Especially in the 2nd half.

I thought he looked much better out there than those who have played in front of him. However, he did not get much love from Hannigrif and Risher, who I have some respect, last night on the post game.

On that burn play, you could tell he was trying to avoid a PI. That's just youth and inexperience.

He will be talked about a lot as he plays more. Potential is the key word for him right now.
