Update is available in the play store. Do it NOW, otherwise you might not be able to log on, or if so you won't be able to roll the new hero or use the new features.

Yeah it is, but at least now your game knows about the new hero in case you roll him.

Wow, OK, big update tonight. I will write some quick tips for those who see this in the morning.
Torch Battle
Don't really know how it works yet, other than it can only be done Wednesday and Saturday from 9AM to 9PM. Kind of lame.
Co-op Dungeons
These are pretty frickin' sweet. There is a new portal toward the top of the map... click it. First thing you do is click the "form team" button, and you just arrange 5 guys on a 3x3 grid. Placement doesn't seem super critical, unless you have a fragile guy and want him to start behind others. Save your setup. If you click "join team", it seems like you are just paired up with randoms to fight the dungeon. If you create your own, you can invite guild mates who are online (it just sends the invite to everyone, first come first serve, max of 4 players). There is a little icon at the bottom left that shows your invites. Once you join a dungeon, you have a few seconds to place your team on a map overview. It helps to stay near your teammates. There is a 10 sec countdown, and then all hell breaks loose. Twenty freaking heroes start going to town in this dungeon with tons of defense and tons of enemy heroes. Oh, and there's a boss, too, so you need a couple pumpkin dukes to have any sort of chance to beat him.
If you win, everybody gets reward chests, which you can open in your warehouse. You get 8 chances, and there's a 6 hour timer.
We should probably discuss strategy beforehand. I think that tomorrow night when we have more players, we should coordinate who fights with who. We need at least 2 PD's in each fight (3 would be better), and it would probably be helpful to have at least 1 Champ. I think we should include one and only one low might player in each battle. One so that they can get some rewards for wins, but not two at a time because that makes it harder to win considering only 4 teams can fight.
OH I JUST NOTICED SOMETHING AWESOME! WHEN YOU ROLL TALENTS, YOU GET TO CHOOSE WHICH HERO TO PUT IT ON. HOLY frick!

Correction, apparently the boss can't be stunned in co-op dungeons, so forget about the Champ. I think this will be my co-op team:
PD 144 6/9 3/5 Berserk
Druid 143 5/9 3/5 Berserk
Molt 141 4/9 3/5 HB
GR 140 5/9 3/5 Berserk
SM 133 5/9 3/5 Revite
I'm thinking come in from the bottom, so we take out the def and go right for the boss. GR and SM should take out everyone else on the map while fighting the boss.

Do talents not level up? Is the only way to get a higher ranking talent is to just roll for it?

I have wasted a lot of good talent rolls in the past because, while the talent was good and high level, it wasn't a good fit for the hero I rolled. Now if I roll a good talent, I get to pick which hero gets it.

Well I'm sure we will do some dungeons tonight, so you can team up with a couple of strong guild mates and beat the dungeon and get some rewards.

Yea, I haven't yet reached a point where I have gems to blow on talents. My gems are focused on rolling for legendary heros to fill up a whole team.

Yeah, I've been playing for over a year. I was determined not to spend any money on it, but after about 6 months I gave in and bought gems. I figured it was worth it after all the hours of entertainment it brought me.
