Muscle Shoals....watching it for the second time today....quite possibly the best documentary I've ever experienced....
Edit: Forrest Gump is way up there too although it takes place in multiple locations...

Which they changed everything about Oher's high school, coaches, etc all the details. That was because it was a whitewashing of the Albert Means fiasco with a Christian twist.

Its hard to tell because most Alabama themed movies are shot out of state. Damn Alabama legislature never got around to passing the film tax credits other states have. But we didn't get a GOP legislature until 2010.
