this is either a move to try and get money from the pros, or the most pointless bullshite PR move in modern sports history

This is what I think.
I do find it peculiar that the commissioners of the shittier conferences with lesser athletes (B1G and Big 12) are for this. I think they believe that it would help even things out between the SEC and B1g and Big 12.

Personally I like the college baseball rules. You can go straight from high school but if you go to college you have stay for a certain amount of time before draft eligible.
