The $160-215k was with paid overtime. His base was like $135k I believe. Helps to work in an area of shortage and he was taking call the others didn't.
Working for himself now, he can make bank. Granted, his current situation is not typical. But I know of a few cRNA's that work for themselves and make that or close to it. Of course, that's just what they tell me. My mom does my bro's billing for him. So, I don't doubt his.

45k, purchasing agent at a chemical plant.
Went to school for Comm Studies (waste) so I had to start from the bottom. Got out in 08, couldn't find work so I sold furniture for 2 years (strict commish - worst job ever.) Got my first real job working as recruiter at a large staffing company making about $60k but the stress of dealing with peope not going to work/employers calling at all hours of the night were too much. Moved on to a local steel company doing purchasing for about $36k. That's how bad I couldn't wait to get away from staffing. Came over here in February. My job in this area should pay more but they based their offer on what I was making at my old job so I kind of screwed myself.
Have great insurance, 401k, work 730-4 M-F, little stress, etc. I'm also in LC so I know there will be room to grow either here or at one of the new projects that will come up. Still, making this little at 27 makes me feel inadequate.
Wife makes about $70k but after student loans, it's closer to $50k![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconbanghead.gif)

He can pull 250k-300k a year if he is doing about 15 endoscopys a day.......it's a shitty life literally and figuratively.......but its possible.
I do some side work and get 150/hr for endoscopy work with a minimum of 4 hours....pushing propofol and looking at a screen of someones colon isn't my cup of tea regardless of money...
Well, I take that back if they paid me 200/hr and had wifi I'd be cool.......
