How he got the m60 on a road trip from NH and NM...also hard to believe there would have been a huge manhunt with feds for him after the cops showed up at the bar. How did he evade the police, road blocks and drive cross country without being noticed, when he would be the nations #1 fugitive on the run, all over news and front page of every paper

1. He got the M60 in NM (Marie said the Denny's they found the car at was in town)
2. He was in a tiny town that probably had like 6 cops and he left pretty much immediately. Not much time or resources for roadblocks. And also roadblocks pretty much never happen anyway. Logistical nightmares.

that was covered in a flash forward in what i think was S 5 episode 1 but could be wrong. the "52 bacon at denny's" scene is longer. the waitress tells him he can get his meal for free with ID, he says no, she presses him so he shows his ID and that's when she calls him Mr Lambert. then i think his gun connection from earlier seasons shows up and they do business.
in the finale they cut it to just the "52 bacon" part bc they've already shown you the rest.

He got the M-60 and the Cadillac from the same guy he got the snub nose .38 from,very early on in the series.

They didn't know that it was really him who called on the phone. I am betting that law enforcement get a LOT of false tips.
