I would get thrown out if I tried watching an LSU / UF game at a restaurant.

Sounds like a heck of a weekend to me, LC.
I'd stick with the restaurants you've chosen. You may have some overlap food wise but none should disappoint.
Game day, if you've been gone for a little while, Bayou Beer Garden has a large space with plenty of TVs. It will show your guests a different neighborhood(midcity) and a change of pace(casual).
OP- I'm actually flying back from Chicago the 7th. Any suggestions for my time up there? Going Thurs-Mon Oct 3-7
