Why is Stanford still above LSU? It doesn't make sense!

Stanford 34-13 San Jose State
Stanford 34-20 Army
while
LSU 37-27 TCU
LSU 56-17 UAB
LSU 45-13 Kent State

until conference games are played (all conferences), some voters are still going by early predictions...

Stanford: predicted to play for Pac-12 title
LSU: predicted to finish 4th in the west
