I (female) haven't personally encountered a priceless, gender specific menu anywhere in the US or Europe. I do, from time to time, still encounter a waiter who will automatically give the wine list to my (male) better half, which strikes me as rather old school sexist. Why not just put it on the table or offer it and ask if you want to see it?

Have encountered plenty of menus with "market", which seems lazy in this day and age of laser printing. If your menu changes each night, write in the damn price. People hate asking for prices.

See, I don't mind this. As a server in a casual restaurant, I automatically hand the bill to the male.. or in a group, to the man who has made it obvious through body language that he is the host/one paying.

I don't hand out a wine list unless someone asks, but I imagine I wouldn't think much about handing it to one person over the other, so I'd probably just hand it to the man.

Personally, I find it incredibly attractive for my SO to pick out a drink and order us each one.

I hear ya, but I still open doors for gals and offer chairs, things like that. Maybe I should cut out all that chivalrous crap if it's unwanted. I wouldn't mind because this means that I'll never again pick up the tab on a date for fear of being sexist. From now on, it's dutch only.
