I think the correct answer is Ingram can't do anything but run and he needs to be traded to a situation where that can be a useful skill.

Tackle breaking aside, with PT the defense never knows if they should play a run, pass or screen.

If he can't do anything else, they shouldn't play him at all. If they're going to keep playing him, they need to at least try. Otherwise, these will continue to be wasted downs.
