First off, troll, I clearly said "For those of you that hate on his tackle ability:"
Please explain to me how someone who shows "terrible tackling throughout the game" can record the most tackles in that specific game and have 94 tackles in the previous season. Simply that. I didn't say that's what makes him a great safety.

Oh, and breaking news people: commentators are always correct and can be citied for reference.

The safeties have not been any help either. Roman Harper leads all others at his position with 1.25 Y/CS, while Malcolm Jenkins is our lowest-rated safety on the season. He has been rated negatively for every category we use. Being flagged five times only hurts his case.

- The two missed tackles for Malcolm Jenkins in this game took his season total to 20, and this marks the seventh time this season that he has missed more than one tackle in a game. Jenkins is, somehow, on course to break Tanard Jackson’s mark of 24 from last season – the most we have ever recorded for a safety in a single season.

Safeties: Malcolm Jenkins, NO (-6.1) and Michael Griffin, TEN (-5.1) Two former first-round picks, both competing to be the worst safety this week. Jenkins was all over the place, neglecting his deep responsibilities, missing tackles (four) and even drawing a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct. Griffin matched the four missed tackles as his poor season continued.

We’ve never been huge fans of Malcolm Jenkins (-6.1). Part of that we figured was down to being put in unfavorable situations with an ultra-aggressive Gregg Williams defense. Perhaps we were giving him more credit than he warranted? Busted coverage discussions aside Jenkins missed four tackles and while his controversial pass break up that led to an interception was crucial, it really shouldn’t make up for his poor performance in the rest of the game. He’s a safety, but he doesn’t make me feel any safer about the back end of the Saints’ defense.

Malcolm Jenkins, S (14th overall pick in 2009): You feel sorry for Jenkins, at times. Playing the deep safety role in the Saints’ defense is a thankless task that often leaves you about exposed as any defender can be. However he hasn’t exactly helped himself as he has missed a staggering one tackle for every 5.2 attempted.

Chill out, Malcolm. I'm sure you're a nice guy and all, and I even have your signed jersey hanging up in my house. But let's face it, you're aren't a starting caliber FS.
