They can easily find available FAs who can give them 3 ypc like Ingram would

You are being generous giving him 3 ypc. The most common number is 2. Plus or minus 2.

he is the type of back that needs to pound the rock 20 times a game. Getting the ball 6 times a game will never be the right fit for him.

Oh, well that's no problem. All he needs is a time machine so he can go back and play in 1964.

Maybe I've been wrong in defending Ingram here. I don't hate the guy, but my frustration with his play is really getting up there.

Did Payton really say he was going to validate his pick of Mark Ingram this year?

If he meant strictly by giving him snaps, he's done that. He should only be used if we are down to 0 backs because of injury

Fumbles can be fixed. Poor vision, speed, and quickness can't. Wilson has shown flashes. He averaged 5 YPC in limited time last year. Ingram hasn't even shown he can be a servicible goal line back.

When Eli throws 2 picks does he get benched? Coughlin is fricking dumb. Stick with wilson, he has proven he is an explosive back. You cannot bench him everytime he fumbles. Unbelievable that they lucked 1 SB, but even crazier that they did it again. Mediocre team, mediocre coach, exceptional luck.

I don't hate the guy. Just tired of him impersonating a bowling pin.

No point in trading him during the season unless the Giants have up someone who can help the defense or they pay a premium/higher price in draft picks than they would in the offseason.

A draft pick doesn't help this team now. Nor does another unproven running back when you can simply give more carries to Thomas and Sproles and keep Ingram on the backburner.

I wonder if these topics would exist if Ingram went to LSU.

Yes. I'm an LSU fan and always want LSU players to do well, and it's a special bonus if they end up playing for the Saints. However, I don't want them playing for the Saints if they suck.

I'll always take up for him against LSU tards who are hating on him for going to Alabama, but I am getting really sick of him getting carries. As far as I can tell the only thing it accomplishes is preventing PT from getting worn out. Ingram needs to bring back his running from the second half of last year or get the frick off of the field.

Oh and we need at least 27 more threads to discuss this topic. Please keep them coming people.
