Dude, I'm not even a republican. Maybe you're right about me not looking at the show without a little bias, but all in all I just don't think it's funny anymore because it preaches too much (through Brian.) Also, they've changed the characters waaaaay too much (IMO) in that Meg is strictly a punching bag, Chris is just barely a non-retard, Peter is a hyperbolic idiot, and Brian and Lois are just there to complain. The only even slightly funny one left is Quagmire. And even his blatant sex-crazed shtick has gotten pretty old.
