Last year's stats:

17-31 263 yds 2 TD 0 INT

16 att 181 yards 2 TD

He absolutely tore them apart. I'm really curious to see what type of adjustments the Packers made over the offseason.

24/35, 265 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT
4 att 47 yards

Despite the adventure in College Station (their location selection enough for another thread) that team's still pretty shitty in defensive personnel. Woodson's gone and Hayward's injured too. I expect GB to be selling out against the option so I highly doubt we'll see much of any designed runs, with a standard offense beating them the boring way. Gore/Hunter run all over them and Kaep stays comfortably in the pocket.

I'm honestly more interested to see GB's offense with so many questions on the OL (both tackle positions are concerns and Bulaga's also out for the year - a lot to patch together for Week 1) and as to whether or not Lacy hits the ground running. If that OL doesn't eat its Wheaties it could get ugly.

If he had Crabtree I'd expect another prolific performance. Without him, I'm curious to see how he does without many weapons on the edge.

It's realistically the same caliber of healthy receivers as he had in January (Randy Moss/Ted Ginn/AJ Jenkins were #2-4 back then - hardly worldbeaters). Boldin and Crabtree are a push. Lotta hating on our receivers as potentially inhibiting us from another run but it's not really that different from the end of last year. Plus Manningham will return and Crabtree may as soon as November.

With Williams back and Patton/Moore having had great preseasons you could feasibly argue it's a better corps.

Boldin and Crabtree isn't a push at this point in their careers.

I agree by season's end the receivers could be better than last year, assuming Manningham and Crabtree return 100%, but this first game I expect a dropoff.

]Only because he can throw down the field more and didnt have to check down like Smith did. His first look was usually Crabs but Davis had a HUGE post season for SF. I expect him to be a bigger threat now with Crabs out especially down the field.

Yea,no.
He is not some little QB trying to run the read option for the first time. The dude is 6'4 230lb and has been hit by guys his whole career. Im sure he can take the "punishment" from a 6'3 255 lb over rated LB.

He's being overrated as frick and it pisses me off. I think he has a mediocre season.

I think he and RG3 are in for a rude awakening.

He seems like he's good if the first read is there

He has a good arm. He just doesn't seem like he's really grasped the system yet.
