Thats how I do mine. Put them in a bag of marinade 9 Worchesire, seasonings, and italian dressing) and let soak. Put on the grill breast bone down. Taste like littel pieces of steak and peels right off the bomne

BACON WRAPPED!

i kill many many doves. however, where i'm from, if you breast them, the whole fricking town will disown you.
I'd tell the whole town politely yet firmly to go frick themselves.
I pluck a bag or two of doves every year just to say I did. There is no real benefit that I can see other than saying you did it. They're great plucked. They're great breasted. One takes 5 seconds, one takes 5 minutes. The reward doesn't make it worth it imo. Too each his own

I agree, with ducks. Dove's skin is 1/32" thick. Or thin. It shrivels off the bird about 1.5 hours in the bloobing process and becomes an insignificant little ball of gelatos nothing.

Hopefully I will be testing out that recipe on a dozen teal next weekend. That recipe has my mouth watering right now.

We must be from the same town. LOL I've never breasted doves or grilled them. Pluck and remove innards, keep skin on. The same goes for all my ducks. The way LSUballs cooks it is a similar to what my family and I cook em, but with the skin.
Since I can't dove hunt this weekend I'll be cooking the last 2 dozen doves I have in my freezer and watching the game.

For me, one of best parts of duck/dove hunting is drinking beer with the old man and grandpa and plucking away for an hour or 2 shooting the shite. But that's just me.

we must all be from the same area. I take it a step further, I clean the gizzards and keep the hearts. Everything goes in the gravy.

I would rather go to Waffle House, breast ducks for 15 minutes and shoot the shiz with your bros, and then go take a nap. That's just me.
