The clock ran from 1:06 to 24 seconds before the 2nd down play was run, give to Hilliard, stopped. Time out 15 seconds left, 3rd and goal, delay of game coming out of the timeout, incomplete pass, helmet flies, 4th down 5 seconds left.

The delay of game is inexcusable, but what's wrong with the clock management? LSU put points on the board and didn't give TCU the chance to return a kick or run a play. Seems like a pretty good job of managing the clock to me.

All I can say is, I'm glad the 10 second run off thing was an official mistake, and maybe you're right, I just felt we missed a golden opportunity for a touchdown there, 1st and goal from the 2.

Clock management was actually perfect. The only blunder was on the officials part, but they corrected that. We haven't had clock management issues for a few years now. In my oppinion, our team looks great. We will be dialed in and all of the rust will be knocked off by the first SEC game. I can't wait!

yes it is, but when the play clock doesn't reset after a timeout and you're leaving the sideline with three seconds on said play clock you can't realistically run from sideline to LOS in 3 seconds...
