I'd almost rather you stay at the Sleep Inn next to Celebration Station or the Days Inn by the Mall of LA than drive across the bridge to Port Allen. I just checked on Hotels.com and both are available for friday and saturday night.
Uh negative ghost rider. Port Allen is less than 5 miles from campus, and no more than a 10 minute car ride on a normal day. Those other spots you named are WAY far away in comparison.
It's just a bridge....get over it.

I still wouldn't want to stay in Port Allen, you feel far removed... because it's a bridge.
But yeah, Fred's friday night, or anywhere in Tigerland (Bogies
) if you want to pick up some college girls.
I personally like hanging around campus after games because I don't like to walk to Tigerland. I've never been to Walk On's actually after a game, always used to go to Serranos.
Enjoy
