It isn't an accessory, it is a part of the Xbox one.

It wasn't for the 360 right? It's an accessory? They then took the same thing, added some voice commands and are now forcing you to buy an accessory to use the main product.

Huh? People that want voice commands and facial recognition will purchase it.
For gaming? No hardcore gamer wants motion gaming at all. Why do you think the Kinect and Eye current gen were failures? No one wants that shite, leave that to Nintendo.
What hardcore gamer games on a Wii? Lol, none. And it wasn't because of the graphics. Why is the Wii U failing miserably? Again, motion gaming has no future.
Just the facts.
Is there a Kinect or PS Eye for PC? No? Well how come? It's such a huge part of gaming that the "master race" doesn't want anythign to do with that stupid shite? Shocker.
Don't kid yourselves and make excuses for a product being forced down your throat like a little sheep.

You don't have to have it connected to the Xbone at all times. You only need it if certain games or programs require it. It's an accessory.

It doesn't matter what the install base is. It's up to MS to come up with relevant content for the Kinect. Just as it's up to Sony to come up with relevant content for the PS Eye. If either company does that then people will invest in their product. Third parties aren't going to care either way. They don't have an incentive to do anything more than gimmicky stuff.
