Rufus Johnson NOT on ps. No OLBs on ps.

Two spots still open, however

Might want to put an A. in front of Johnson so people don't get them confused. Edit: I see you have it in the original post.

I was a little unsure if Higgins was eligible. Figured if he was he would probably be on there.

I'm thinking R. Johnson, Nelson, and Aaitui are likely candidates.

Eric Martin made Cleveland's 53
I don't think the Saints expected no one to claim him. I'm sure they had plans for him on the practice squad.

I'm legitimatly worried about OLB. I hope this shite shakes out soon. I can't see the only keeping 3.

They wouldn't have cut Martin so early if they wanted him.

As for OLB, we have 9 total LBs and it has been said by players some of the ILBs are being cross trained.

We do not NEED more OLBs.

It wasn't that early and you don't know that. In some cases they cut players early so teams can't detect them and then resign them. Martin is a solid football player.

I agree with your concern. Wilson and Gallete though great talents are injury prone. With Haralson there they will get good tutoring from a solid vet. But depth is an issue.

It was before the 4th game. If you want a guy you don't cut him and let a team have a chance to get a game in with him.

He flashed early but reports were he wasn't picking things up and was just a one dimensional player.

Saints cut Joique Bell with intentions of hurrying up and resigning him. They've made these mistakes before. That's why I say you don't know what a team intends to do. Eric Martin wouldn't have been claimed right away if he wasn't a solid football player. If he wasn't picking things up then that's why you bring him to the PS.

Having an abundance of roster worthy talent is a wonderful problem to cope with!

Seems I spent a lifetime of preseasons scouring other rosters for who might be cut to fill spots on the 53 before the golden age of the Saints.

Though I'd imagine they'd have dropped Cadet or Robinson had they landed him.
