You must live by me. I really like Bottle Shop. Laid back atmosphere....not a lot of scenery though.
I've had issues at Beer Kitchen. Several beers I've gotten on draft there have had a cleaning product smell. I'm not sure what they use to wash their glasses and clean their lines but I don't like it. The food is not too good either. Food at Libertine is much better and soon we'll have the food trucks at Trader Joe's. And the Goodfriend people are about to open a place next to Trader Joe's that will have some good food.
Probably so. I can walk to all those places too.
Sad to hear about Beer Kitchen. Might try it anyway and see if anything has changed. Still exploring the area but liking it so far. Thanks for the heads up on the other stuff too.

Do you know about:
Lakewood Landing-Dive bar...Sierra Nevada is about the best beer here but cool place to hang for a while.
Cock n Bull Another sorta dive bar but with really good food. Beer selection is so so.
Ships Pure Dive....Beer bar only, BYOL and buy setups, great old juke box, no cussing bar...Charlie, the owner, is there usually and will toss your arse out.
Louies Pizza-Thin crust pizza and a full italian menu...although I only get the pizza. Best in Dallas IMO. Louie is from Waukegan, Ill. and apparently thin crust is what they eat there. It has a cool bar too....always sit on the right hand side of the place. They have a "new" side room to the left as you walk in that has no character. Louie is there in the evenings...tall thin guy with a white beard. He has been known to curse out patrons that complain too much.
