If my kid was a big time national recruit with aspirations of the next level, I would want him to go where ever would give him the best opportunity to get to that level.
If he had absolutely no chance to go NFL, but could get a scholly, I'd want him to go where he could get the best education.

If I were an elite recruit and knew I could start anywhere. I would pick where my friends and family could see me play and be a hometown hero.
