Same as the Defensive predictions thread. Predict stat lines and leaders for various categories.
Regular Season Individual Predictions:
Drew's Passing Yards: 4750 (we return to a strong running game)
Passing TDs: 48
Rushing Yard Leader: Mark Ingram (800 yards)
Rushing TD Leader: Mark Ingram (6 TD)
Receiving Yard Leader: Jimmy Graham (1200 yards)
Receiving TD Leader: Jimmy Graham (12)
Offensive MVP not named Drew Brees: Jimmy Graham
Offensive LVP: Whoever RB4 ends up being.
Regular Season Team Predictions:
Rank by Passing Yards: 3
Rank by Rushing Yards: 12
Rank by Total Points Scored: 1
Rank by Turnovers committed: 5 (I'm really hoping this is an area we (Drew) can clean up, and could end up being the season difference maker one way or the other)
Overall 'rank' in Division: Number 1 and it isn't close.

If he's not at least 1100/12 people are going lose their minds on here

I'm not seeing this. I don't have much faith in Ingram to get the job done any better than he has in the past.

I blame it more on the line not opening holes like the beginning of last season. Even PT struggled mightily at first.
Hopefully they just haven't shown any real runs because of the ATL game, but I haven't liked seeing the guy that's supposed to open the hole getting pushed back 2 yards.

That's not happening. If we run the ball again like we did in 2011 and 2009, we'll have over 2k rushing as a team, but it will be spread out over different players.

Too steep for me. I see Ben Watson getting far more looks than any of us think. Jimmy will serve as a killer decoy for him. D's are going to be hawking JG80 for sure.

For one thing, look for Payton to experiment with the use of a no-huddle attack and to try to control the tempo by varying the length of snap counts, much the way Tom Brady did for the New England Patriots in 2012. Similarly, look for the Saints to have more balance -- at the very least, an ability to run the ball effectively when protecting a lead. Look for football's best tight end, Jimmy Graham, to shake off a subpar season and become an absolute monster in a contract year.
And look for Payton's alter ego, Drew Brees, to be a huge beneficiary of these changes.
Though Brees piled up 43 touchdown passes and 5,117 yards (the third-highest total in NFL history, and only 299 fewer than in his record-setting season of 2011), he also served up 19 interceptions, and his completion percentage plummeted from 71.2 in '11 to 63.0 during Payton's absence.
This year, even with some untested receivers in the mix, I think Brees will blow it up. I'm picking him to lead the Saints back to the playoffs, and in the process, earn his first regular-season MVP award.
