Will Quantavius Leslie start?

Does any one have any info on how is QL progressing in practice?
IMO, a solid 3rd WR (behind OBJ and JL) is critical to an effective passing attack and I was under the assumption that recruiting QL out of Hinds JC would fulfill that immediate need. Will QL fill that need or do we have another WR that can step above QL and raise up the WR performance as a unit?

I don't think so. I'd have DurAl ahead but who knows.

Travin Dural will be the breakout WR this year, IMO.

I don't think he starts. I think he's been somewhat of a disappointment, and in the times I've seen him I was shocked at how thin he was. He looks like he needs at least a year under Tommy Moffit to become a D. Byrd like receiver.

As long as we have a quality 3rd option to take the defensive pressure off of OBJ and JL I fine with whoever starts.

Looks like Durel has won the 3rd wr job for now. Also, think Boone will contribute. Leslie will see more playing time next year. I think he provides good depth in case of an injury as well.

It's my understanding that D'haquille is an AU 2014 verbal commit. That means he will play out this fall season with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College sign his LOI in February and play for AU in the fall of 2014.
That is the same path that Quantravius took with LSU.
BTW, I don't believe D'haquille's recruitment in terms of coming to LSU are over.
