Herring is incredible. He's a technician, and plays flawlessly. But if you don't think Bonamassa can play at that level you are highly mistaken. They are both highly technical and masters at their craft, but I like the rawness that goes with Bonamassa more. I also feel like he has more of the "feel" when it comes to playing. Not to mention that Joe has an incredible voice to go with that guitar playing.


Both are outstanding guitarist.

I feel the total opposite. Joe seems to me like everything is too together or scripted to me. Jimmy is more raw because he never knows where a jam will take him. Really like the use of the word "technician." Never thought of it that way, but it is very true. This sounds bad, but I don't like how clean and polished joe always looks. Drink a beer, smoke a cig, have some fun. People sit at his shows. Thats no fun.
