Somebody used this logic about Dimaggio's streak -- after his 56 game streak snapped he had another one of something like 16 games, so it could have been 73

Dimaggio himself exposed the flaw in this: "After the streak ended, the pressure was off".

Uhh, this was still USC in 2006 - they weren't losing the early part of their 2006 schedule...in fact, Losing to Oregon State was a massive upset.

I'm fairly confident..."the pressure being off" wasn't something that ever happened at USC at that time...when they were the target of everyone.
