How good of a Right Tackle is Zach Strief

can't wrap my arms around this thought if you know what i mean. I was praying Marcel Jones would go into beast mode but doesn't appear so.

He has height and long arms, with helps him with run blocking. However, due to his limited athletic ability, he has trouble against speed rushers, and needs help to slow them down initially so he can get into position.

The best answer is that not a word about RT has been heard in camp or in two games so far.

That is very good in my book

They moved Jones to OG because 1)Harris was outplaying him at RT and 2)injuries to C Olsen and OG Tiller left us thin in the middle.

Like you I was hoping Jones would step up but if anyone is going to replace Strief it will be Harris.

But I do think this is a plus for Jones because I haven't heard a lot of negative about his tackle play and getting experience on the inside of the line will make him versatile and help him earn a spot over guys like Olsen, Tiller, and Lelito.

i say armstead at rt---he will relax and learn faster without the lt pressure ---then we move him to lt?
