Yea, I've never told anyone that I understood why Miles put JJ in against Bama in '11
JJ got arrested after he played at LSU, and this should've tipped Miles off that RJ didn't have good influences in his life. Then he gets arrested before signing day for F'ing with a cop of all things and you still take his LOI??
Imagine getting arrested during the interview process for a job. Do your potential employers still hire you?? Of course not. Yet LSU football is a business, and Miles ignores character evidence before committing a scholly to the kid. If you're saying the risk is worth the reward because he's a great player and all that matters is W's, fine, but don't tell me F'ing with a cop is understandable because they shouldn't have authority in the 1st place.
I just think it's a bad business move b/c it's hard for any red-blooded college guy to get through college without an arrest, let alone guys that have a record before they finish high school
Trollololololol.

The defense that he didn't know it was a cop is ludicrous. It doesn't absolve him from getting in a fight.
From the link (y'know, the only credible source):
-His friends were being disorderly.
-A cop who's entire job is to to prevent these situations confronted them.
-His boy gets in the dude's face (obviously any person with a live brain and a managable ego at this point stops to consider that this may be a cop and neither him nor RJ did.)
-The cop and his friend get into it and RJ jumps in. Obviously RJ didn't throw any punches or he would've gotten the felony, but it's poor judgement and evidence of character issues.
All these "reports from witnesses" are irrelevant. It's a homer's way of rationalizing. Why would their accounts be more valid than the courts and the TP??
I stand corrected. The classiest people in the state live in Destrehan. There are no residents below the poverty line. Poor people don't commit more crimes statistically. Troll status undeniable. A racist troll at that.
With my avatar people think I'm a Bama alter. Solid investigating.

Sure it does. Random people can't just roll up on you on the street and hold you against your will.

They were a couple of young black kids sitting near a parking garage on a parade route.

They were NARCs.

Why would you assume it's a cop in this day and age?

All the while the guy never announces he's a cop.

Really? You don't just blindly trust cops, man.

No dipshit, you acted like Destrehan was the hood or some shite. Saints coaches live out there dumb arse. The fricking ex-head coach used to live out there.

There are a few things clear about this dawggy dawg POS. He has something against Miles. He has something against the Jeffersons. He doesn't know shite about the incident. He doesn't know shite about Destrehan. He doesn't know shite about LEOs in Jefferson Parish.

Why is it the only credible source? It's just the police report. Guess who wrote the police report.
Jefferson was charged with felony resisting arrest. You don't find it out that he is allowed to plea down to a misdemeanor and have his record expunged after probation, if the what the police report stated was 100% factual?

So now Jefferson and Sampson are poor?

The whole situation is BS, but if the cops are arresting or detaining someone else that you don't know...walk away. I hate to say this but he was probably acting like a thug anyways. Two years probation is fu*king steep though but I guess he was facing a felony.

That is an extremely fricked up situation. Those undercover cops fricked those kids over. 2 years probation? Ridiculous.
A cop on a power trip... not surprised. I hate the fact that for every good cop there are 10 bad ones that are either crooked or just jerks on power trips (or both)

They never announced they were cops until way after the altercation. Their badges were tucked in their shirts and never presented.

Yes because they were minding their own business, you know just being black sittin in a garage looking at a parade. But no the courageous white man in plain clothes must come save the day from the thuggery of sitting down watching a parade, while being black. Witnesses be damned, even if he was trying to protect his fellow 17-18 year old friend from being attacked by a random white guy.
Then puts the cuffs on and says i'm a police officer, ow, he definitely followed procedure on that . Reminds me of that family matters episode where Eddie was racially profiled, and his dad believed it because "cops do no wrong".

You really are a special kind of stupid.
How so? Yelling at a parade, which is loud. Disorderly is quite vague.
Some random guy walks up to me, and I should automatically assume he is a cop? Why?
According to witnesses, no one knew he was a cop at this point.
Cops often over charge, and let the courts sort it out. Besides, no one denies that Jefferson wasn't getting physical. However, if he didn't know he was a cop, why is he not allowed to intervene?
It is called self defense.
