Odd
He was quoted as saying all his legal issues were behind him, and that there was nothing to worry about.

Rickey Jefferson, the LSU recruit from Destrehan High School, and two friends pleaded guilty in Jefferson Parish Monday, in connection with their arrests in February for impeding a narcotics investigation in Metairie. The trio received two years of active probation. Jefferson, 18, of St. Rose, had been charged with felony resisting arrest by force or violence, stemming from his Feb. 2 arrest along the East Jefferson parade route just days before he signed a national letter of intent to play LSU football.

JMHO, I think this Jefferson is going to make LSU fans quite happy before it's over....I think he's got his head right, boss!

That is an extremely fricked up situation. Those undercover cops fricked those kids over. 2 years probation? Ridiculous.

Those kids were set up by an out of control cop. But that is nothing new especially in the NOLA area.

If JJ didn't get the boot for being the worst QB in LSU history and his legal troubles it's gonna take a helluva lot more than this

Ya' know what the Marines say about excuses, huh! Let's get past the excuse stage...why not just take responsibility for any missteps and move on....that's what growing up is all about, ya' know...or do ya'...

This whole thing is bullshite. They were chased down by a plain clothes officer at mardi gras because they were inside the Lakeside parking garage. According to initial reports on the incident the cop basically took off after them not identifying himself what so ever. Not until he caught them did he ever say "im a cop" as far as what was published when this happened.
