I agree...I wanted Sandberg over Quade in 2011, but in retrospect, thank God they didn't hire him. The team would've been just as shitty, and the Cubs fans would've turned on one of their all time greats. I wouldn't have wanted to see that.

Exactly. It doesn't do anyone any favors putting an icon in a position of failure.
