The party I am attending tonight has BMC, Abita and Heineken written all over it. What store in Shreveport has the best beer selection? Has Southern Tier reached these parts?
Many thanks.

Wine Country Bottle Shop, Brewniverse, or Tonys
And yes, we have Southern Tier.

Whats better between the two and where is Brewniverse? I've never heard of it.

I go to Wine Country most often because they seem to get a few more rare things (for Shreveport at least), but Brewniverse has a good selection as well. Probably a larger selection in general.
Brewniverse is next to Superior Steak House. They have a bunch of homebrew equipment too.

Brewinverse? Were they up and running back in 2010-2011?
I spent several months working in Shrev-Bossier area, and to be quite honest, best beer selection I found up there might have been the Albertson's in Bossier.
Went to that "fancy" place in that area new Superior (can't think the name of it), but they were just overpriced with not much a selection. They supposedly sold specialty meats, seafood and beer (at least that's what a local told me).

Maxwells Market? Yeah, their beer selection sucks.

Brookshires on line has a big line up. Also a decent build your own 6-pack selection.
Cuban has a good selection as well.

Cuban does have a pretty good selection and is located right across Pierremont Rd from Brewniverse.

Tony's has the best IMO - though I haven't been to Brewniverse yet
