I've looked at the veritas, I'm not sure I like the small foregrip. I'll be putting a spin reel on it, and it doesn't seem like that grip would be very comfortable. If it was for my curado then I think it would work well

Btw those are some really nice specks

Well,I was thinking you were looking for a Casting rod. Sorry.
And I do have a Curado on mine and it's light as a feather.
For spinning,have you looked at the Castaway Skeletons?
Those things are nice for spinning.

I have some veritas spinning rods. They're great bang for the buck.
