Its much cheaper to buy "cold brew" brand with the measured container.
how is it cheaper? I already have coffee at home anyways and make it in a press every morning. I plan to use the same coffee that I always buy, just cold brew it for a day or two in the fridge in the press.
4:1 seems to be common, thanks!

It's about 30 cents a cup. That's pretty freaking cheap.

cold brew coffee should never be brewed with hot water then chilled, it defeats the purpose of getting all the oils and slow brew process of cold water steeping the coffee.
Hot brew, uses 1 tbl to 1 cup of water. where as cold brew uses 1 cup of coffee to every 4-5 cups water for a concentrate.
Much more expensive.
