I use 1:4, but in all honesty. Its much cheaper to buy "cold brew" brand with the measured container. Dont buy New Orleans brand. Its crap.

I agree wholeheartedly. The NO brand cold brewed is weak stuff. Get the concentrated Cool Brew for the "real deal".

how is it cheaper? I already have coffee at home anyways and make it in a press every morning. I plan to use the same coffee that I always buy, just cold brew it for a day or two in the fridge in the press.

4:1 seems to be common, thanks!
