Ya, when it comes to fixed value reward cards, Barclay's is clearly better than Cap One Venture at this moment. Basically 2.2 points compared to 2x, bigger bonus on sign up, with only slightly higher fee.

I just switch my primary to Barclay from Capital One a few months ago

Very good move in the fixed rewards card space.

Have AMEX Hilton Honors Platinum. $75 annual fee. But rarely pay for a hotel room. All of our monthly expenses, even some donations paid via that and pay the balance monthly, so interest rate is not an issue.
Am able to give free rooms to my kids when they travel at times, also.

I prefer cash cards. I've got the Amex blue cash. Based on my mix of purchases, I believe I'm close to averaging 2% back on everything.

I currently have a Chase Freedom. Any reason why I should supplement it with something other than a Sapphire Preferred for my next card?

I recently got a Capital One Quicksilver One card. Is that type of card legit?

CSP or Ink... Just depends on where you spend more money

Then CSP. An ungodly percentage of my spending goes to eating out

Can anyone sign up for the ink card?
Is there something I have to mislead them about?

My understanding is that you just put your SS# rather than your Federal Tax ID. I have never applied for a business card

From what I've been told, unless you have a tax ID#, you'll likely need to call the reconsideration line. They'll ask why you need this card. You'll need to have some kind of answer for them, i.e. I'm doing X on the side and want to keep my personal and business expenses separate.

Ya, basically that you are a sole proprietorship or what have you.

Just sent a message to request the 50000 bonus. I got 25000 now.

how do yall like the barclay arrival MC? thinking about signing up for one.
I've read they waive the $89 annual fee if you spend 4k a year. that's pretty easy to spend in a year.
TIA

I don't have it but I think it's a good card.
I seriously doubt they waive the fee for only spending 4k, maybe 40k, but not 4k.
The card fee is waived the first year though

Thanks for the info. Chase said they would double my points to 50000 and all I would need to spend is another $1000. So after that I should have two round trip tickets for free. Cool.
