My first foray to the esteemed Music Board - I trust such a question is not out of line.

Bringing a hard drive along on a recent family trip resulted in my receiving the entirety of my brother-in-law's library. We share similar taste in music, but I've never been terribly deep WRT Mr. Young. I now have pretty much his entire work.

Looking for a place to start - the defining studio albums and his best live stuff. I did a search which yielded one poster's top five Neil Young albums, which I've noted. Looking for a few more opinions.

I greatly appreciate any and all input.

Harvest and the Decade compilation are the most obvious starting points
