1000 yd receiver this year?

Who do you think will be the leading receiver this year and will we have one go over 1000 yards?
We haven't had a 1000 yd receiver since Michael Clayton in 2003. RR2 came close in 2011 though
I really think Landry has a great year and gets over 1000.
Thoughts?

If anyone did it, it'd be Landry.

I think Landry is the most likely if any. I'm not sure if any of them will because I feel like we'll have a lot of different receivers, tight ends, and running backs catching the ball.

I think they will spread it around to much to get one guy that high. I hope to see a running back getting some of those receiving yards.

Oh yes. I think we get a 1000 yard receiver and another with 750 +.
Or a more conservative answer of 2 with 800.

Yeah that might cause his numbers to be a bit low and hell, that's fine by me because it means we have a better passing game altogether. Landry just came on so strong at the end if last year. I think he'll be Metts target more often than not. The guy catches everything thrown his way.

we won't, but if we did it would be #80

Landry will have just over 1 K in receiving with 5 TD catches
Odell will have high 700's; low 8's but will have more than Jarvis all purpose

That would mean the passing game has been completely transformed. Here's hoping you're right.

Idk about 1000 yards but, I can see OBJ or Landry getting over the 700 yard mark. As long as their spreading the ball around scoring TDs , that's all I care about.

That one handed endzone catch should have been one of the top plays all season last year in college football. That was fricking unbelievable.

I think Mett will have at least 20 attempts per game on average for the year. Jarvis is Metts favorite target and is a true possession receiver ... 77 yards a game receiving for jarvis is doable.

Beckham, he would have been close last year if he didn't drop so many. He had around 750 iirc

Yeah if beckham is playing out wide and we really are throwing the long ball a lot (and with better execution) he should put up some yards.
I'm just ready to see the offense in action. There is not reason they shouldn't be productive and dare I say, good.

depends how each games go and how the coaches feel about the players.
For example, when we go with just two wrs it may be boone and landry on the field.

It is considered one of the best plays of last season.

Well seeing that Leslie needs a lil work I'd say Dural or Landry.

You are low balling it. From all the interviews I've seen and reports/articles, we will be more uptempo and slinging the rock(Dickson said the TEs have to know a hell lot more routes).
We averaged about 65 plays are year last year and I expect that number to be between 70-75 this year. We won't run the ball 50 times a game unless it is producing.
Hell we ran 85 plays against Bama last year and still only put up 17 points. In that game we averaged 8.2 ypa(36/296) but only 2.8 ypc(49/139).
I'm hoping with Cam, we don't stay stupid in the play calling and actually continue on what's working.
Better execution + better play calling = more quality production(points, yards).
