No. The guy didn't say attrition at the position would be the best chance for Magee to get carries. He straight up said attrition would be his best avenue, meaning no longer on the team.

This. Other people leaving is not an "avenue" magee can take. Unless, of course, he is suggesting sabatoge.

I shouldn't be surprised people don't know the meaning of attrition on this board. If he meant transfer, he would have typed it.

He did not straight up say this. The note in general is exploring Magee's situation. Leaving MIGHT be his best option, or MAYBE his stint as a receiver might create opportunity in an offense that may actually involve the rbs in the passing game.

Saying that the writer is telling him, advising him or advocating him to leave is absurd.
