This was originally my dad's (picture is just representation). He had purchased years ago, and used it every now and then. My mom brought it to me this past weekend, she had been using it, but doesn't anymore. I've got a Weber gas grill, and Weber Smokey Mountain, but might use this also, if nothing else will keep for tailgate events etc. Needs little cleaning on inside, but from what I've heard they will last forever, hold the heat very well, and made of cast aluminum.

I've got one.
GREAT grill, my Father had one from the time I can remember until I went to college. The grates rusted out, he purchased something else and gave the PK away.
I purchased my PK almost 3 years ago. Love that damn grill. One of my best purchases ever.
I purchased one for my Father for Christmas. He's hooked again!

I have an older model where the hinge is on the long side, unlike the one in the picture above. The greatest quality of the grill is that it will never ever rust. The grill grates will, of course. You just replace those as needed every few years.
They're expensive as hell. Mine originally retailed for about $300. But the one I have, I pulled out of somebody's trash, believe it or not.

My dad has one that is older than me, 38+ years...

FYI, the damper system on the PK is exceptional.
As a result, you can control flare ups and temp well.
I've used mine for high temp searing to low and slow smoking.
